Moving to Ottawa from Arizona, we received a recommendation to work with Dale Lockhart as our realtor. We met with a few realtors before deciding whom to work with, and felt that Dale and her colleague Noah Gagné had the best sense of what we were looking for. We immediately were very comfortable with them and felt that they were really listening to us to help us work through our particular situation. Sure enough, through the whole process, we were impressed with the quality and consistency of communication we had with them. They were always responsive, and we always felt like they were working to not just get us in home, but to find something that was the right fit for us. Dale was involved certainly, but Noah was our primary contact through the process. Really impressed by the lengths he went to for us to have a smooth purchase and move. Above and beyond all expectations for sure. When we came to visit Ottawa, we were unfamiliar with the city, didn’t quite know what we wanted, and needed to maintain some flexibility on our purchase date. All that meant we wanted to visit a LOT of properties, and Noah and Dale were immensely helpful and gracious, with constant smiles through over 30 properties in 4 days. I don’t think all Ottawa realtors would be able and willing to do that. Their expertise of the process and region were also invaluable to us. With much of our home search done remotely, it was great to have some “boots on the ground” we could trust. The property we chose had some odd circumstances - Noah was great about making sure we were aware of the risks, and helping us craft ways to mitigate them. And he didn’t always have all the answers. But I’d much rather have someone say they don’t know and go find the right answer, as Noah did, than blow smoke at me with an answer I can’t trust. Now we’re about to close and are super excited about our new home and what we paid for it. Also need to mention the quality of their referrals. Without many contacts in Ottawa, we were reliant on Dale and Noah for help with lawyers, mortgage brokers, inspectors, etc. We were VERY happy with all the professionals we ended up working with, and credit needs to go back to Dale and Noah for those high quality contacts. All in all, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to either work with Noah and Dale again, or to recommend them to someone else purchasing a home in Ottawa. Great people, amazing service, exciting results. Can’t think of anything more we could have asked for here.
